Fundamental #6 Identity
-who are you?
-What does this have to do with Fitness? Stay tuned. I’m getting all philosophical on this one.
-In life, you will fall into one of two categories:
You either will do something in order to be someone or you will do something because you are someone. These are very different things and you would be wise to evaluate your life and honestly observe which category most of your actions fall into. More to come…
-We at CrossFit White River believe that you are important. You have specific talents and abilities, spheres of influence and ways of thinking that are unique to you, alone. No one looks like you, thinks like you or does exactly what you do. We believe that this indicates that you were meant for a specific purpose. You were called to a specific battle.
Active Rest Day
Come in for any of the following:
1) Make up a WOD from the week
2) Do Outlaw Way Connectivity and Gymnastics WOD (see below)
3) Do some mobility and intense stretching
5) Combine any of the above into a Fitness cocktail of your choice.
3 minute Thoracic Foam roll
3 mintue Quad foam roll
3 minute shoulder Lacrosse ball smash
20 pass throughs
4x :20 (each arm) Shoulder stretch for the front rack position
3x 1:00 Bottom of the overhead squat with pvc or 15lb bar

2×10 Straight Body Lever, 0:10 Descent DEMO
